Life: Roc Nation Partners With Long Island University to Launch New School

JAY-Z has another historic collaboration in the works. Roc Nation, which was founded by JAY-Z in 2008, has partnered with Long Island University to form the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment.

The school will be located in Brooklyn, and opens in the fall of 2021.  The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment will prepare students for careers in performance, entrepreneurship & production, and sports management by offering degrees in music; music technology, entrepreneurship & production, and sports management. 

In addition, the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment offers debt-free education to 25% of enrolled students and a summer residential camp for high schoolers and year-round Saturday camp for young aspiring talent ages 10-18. Enrollment for camp begins in the spring of 2021.
